We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer (Azure / Kubernetes / Microservices) to join our Client’s team and help them operate, scale, and evolve a modern, cloud-native platform.

About the Platform
The current technology stack includes:
Backend: .NET (primary) and Python, with some components in other languages where appropriate,
Frontend: React,
Architecture: Fully microservices-based,
Container orchestration: Kubernetes,
Database: Managed PostgreSQL service,
Cloud: Microsoft Azure,
AI / Bot layer: Microsoft Bot Framework with a Teams Copilot application running on Azure.
The platform is designed for scalability, reliability, and extensibility. They are currently evaluating strategic options around cost optimization and infrastructure evolution, including:
Partial or full migration to another cloud provider,
Hybrid setups,
Partial or full transition to on-premise infrastructure.
Your Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for a microservices architecture.
Operate and optimize Kubernetes clusters (performance, reliability, security, cost),
Manage infrastructure as code and cloud resources (primarily Azure),
Improve observability, monitoring, logging, and alerting across the platform,
Support development teams in deployment, debugging, and production readiness,
Actively participate in cloud cost optimization and infrastructure strategy,
Help design and execute potential migrations (cloud-to-cloud, cloud-to-hybrid, or cloud-to-on-prem).

Strong experience with Kubernetes in production,
Solid hands-on experience with Azure (or comparable cloud providers),
Experience with microservices architectures,
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, etc.),
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM, etc.),
Understanding of networking, security, and cloud best practices,
Experience with PostgreSQL operations is a plus,
Experience with migrations, cost optimization, or hybrid/on-prem setups is a big plus.
Nice to Have
Experience with multi-cloud or cloud exit strategies,
Experience running production workloads on on-prem or hybrid infrastructure,
Familiarity with Microsoft Bot Framework or conversational AI platforms,
Experience supporting high-availability and high-scale systems.
